NWEA maintains a high quality bank of items, developed by educators with broad curricular and/or teaching background. We continue to expand our bank of items by working with select individuals, current educators or professional item writers, on a freelance basis under paid contract. Currently, we have a need for item writers in the following areas: Grade levels 3-8, with expertise in multiple domains of Math
