Our client seeks an experienced web application developer with Django development skills. Work can primarily be done while telecommuting, with some in-office meetings (East Coast), and annual travel (to West Coast office).

Qualifications:

Three years professional experience in software development
Excellent object-oriented programming ability in Python or other modern languages
HTTP, AJAX, HTML5, XML, JSON fluency
Proficiency in such tools as Javascript, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Linux, bash
Familiarity with version control systems like git, hg, or bazaar
Ability and eagerness to teach yourself new skills with minimal hand-holding
Proactive and friendly team-oriented communicator
