Lead Developer – Social Media (Home Office)

We are looking for a seasoned, skilled, and innovative thinker to act as lead developer for a social media video startup. This position includes equity ownership and monetary compensation.

Development skills required:

1. Expert php.

2. Skilled in mysql database

3. Skilled using symphony framework.

4. Some server related skill would be useful.

5. Understanding of current video trends and technologies.

6. Past use of codecs and video editing software.

7. Very familiar with YouTube.

Additional:

Extensive social media experience.

Able to work independently

Capable project manager.

Innovative thinker

Our company has developed proprietary video editing software already, we have the bones of our website developed too, but we are in need of an innovative thinker to take what we have and turn it into a Social Media Giant. The business concepts are already laid out, now all we need is the functionality, so what we are looking for is someone who can take the idea and turn it into reality. Most of the work has been done, so this is a role where the seasoned candidate takes his past experience in video and social media and leverages that to transition what we have already built into our vision.
