Web Developer (part-time/freelance) (Austin)

NSS Labs is seeking a 2-4 year experienced Web Developer with strong PHP, CSS, and HTML background for a part-time (approximately 5-10 hours/week) position. You will be responsible for website/internet updates and maintenance, data feeds, and styling/coding the requested designs. You will work closely with the marketing team and graphic designers to develop new client side platform initiatives, translate functional requirements, and develop rich, interactive experiences for browsers. Applicant also needs to prioritize tasks while reporting directly to our Marketing Manager. This position requires excellent technical skills and high attention to detail. Candidate should have a strong passion for programming, development and website design.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Experience with CMS Systems, preferably MODx, development, maintenance, site maps and UI Design

Other scripting languages including Ruby or Python are a plus

Website Management (DNS, Caching, SSL)

Must be a self-motivated, creative problem solver and results driven

Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Ability to effectively provide written and verbal communication to solution design, development, delivery, testing, logging, and user documentation

Excellent project management skills
