Carries out cleaning duties during normal office hours. Maintains the kitchen and dining rooms according to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Washes all kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glassware timeously for the use of the production staff and/or the customers. Is also required to provide general assistance such as cleaning vegetables and chopping foodstuff and any other related tasks from time to time.
· To maintain a safe, secure and hygienic work environment for kitchen staff and customers.
· To maintain personal health, hygiene and professional appearance.
· Clean and maintain kitchen floors, walls, stores and food production areas
· Clean, maintain and store utensils timeously.
· Clean, maintain and store cutlery, crockery and glassware timeously.
· Clean and maintain certain kitchen equipment as per instruction.
· Basic food preparation on a need to basis.
