Drupal Developer

NatureServe, a leading biodiversity conservation non-profit, is looking for a Drupal developer to act as the linchpin for our growing suite of Drupal based products. Following the success of NatureServe Surveyor (http://surveyor.natureserve.org), we are building a web accessible GIS/mapping solution that streamlines environmental impact review processing for natural resource agencies and conservation organizations. As the primary Drupal developer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing this solution to be scalable, responsive, and readily customizable.
Both independently and in small teams, you will participate in all aspects of an agile software development lifecycle, including: software development, product design, requirements analysis, technical documentation, quality control testing, user support, and maintenance. You may interact directly with NatureServe clients and partners to understand and refine user needs, and so the position may involve occasional travel. You will report to our Principal Software Engineer. The job duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and our working environment aims to reward individual initiative and promote personal growth.
